CyberSecurity Training

Demand for cybersecurity professionals over the past five years grew 3.5 times faster than demand for other IT jobs and about 12 times faster than for all other jobs. It has been reported that more than 209,000 cyber security jobs in the U.S. are unfilled. Given what we see in the news,America needs well trained professionals working in cybersecurity roles. These professionals are critical in both private industry and the government for the security of individuals and the nation.
Successful Paths has partnered with Cyber Resilience Institute to provide an 8 weeks of cyber security training – Plus a Sports-event Capstone (5 days). This enables students to develop cross-disciplinary knowledge and skills. The training is structured so that students with diverse backgrounds can participate in an interdisciplinary team. The course culminates in the Sports Capstone where students concentrate on attaining knowledge along the intelligence continuum: Collection – Analysis – Sharing & Reporting.

During this 8 week training, you have access to the following:

  • There are three separate tracks: Social Media Threat Hunting, Cyber Observable Threat Hunting, and Cyber Policy.
  • Each Learner receives a user license and access to a repository of open source tools and is trained on tool usage, tradecraft, and cross-domain hunting using tools like: Threat Intelligence Platform, social media tools, analytic frameworks, and collection management resources
  • Online with individual research; Team collaboration and threat hunting occurs on a distributed basis, coached by mentors.

Who can participate?

To qualify for this program, you must be at least a Junior completing your 3th year of college and majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics or Forensic Science or you can be an existing IT professional. To sign up or find out more click here click here
